Morning everyone,

MrG - I agree withStarting! you are an inspiration. I'm so pleased that you are getting this opportunity ...... the comment about it being huger than you want to go into really says something about you stepping up to the mark. Well deserved I reckon!

It was a pretty emotionally tiring, but also very profound week. My brother appears to be outliving the medical predictions for his life span and we had a great week together .... talk about living every minute as if it is your last!! It was one of those weeks that really makes you think about how you want to live your life ...... haven't entirely processed it all yet, but had some quiet insights into my behaviours that I think will prove useful as I continue on my own journey (and particularly the desire to be completely AF).

Quiet weekend planned. Had a REALLY early night and this morning I'm planning on going back to bed this morning with the new Diana Gabaldon book for a treat.

I need to get back into some exercise ... finding it hard to get motivated. I know if I just start and make myself do it for a couple of weeks then it will become routine again, but routine seems to be pretty hard to achieve at the moment!!

Great news Mr G on your new job.. hope it goes really well, sounds v exciting! I too am inspired

You sound really well Mame, I understand the kind of emotional times you are having. My brother had terminal cancer and lived far longer than predicted. It was a blessing for us all of course and we had very special times, but also really hard on the nerves as we never knew how long we had. These insights are truly precious.

Whilst I totally support women doing hitherto mainly 'blokey' things and whilst I really appreciate young women knowing their own mind, I am totally uncomfortable with young Jessica Watson's attempt at a solo round-the-world sail. She's just turned 16. She plans to be at sea for 8 months.

Hi Everyone
Well its hot hot hot here, might have to jump in the pool soon, Well I had my first teeball match of the season as coach and WE WON THE GAME.....im soooo proud of my little team, they done really great today, I really thought we were going to get flogged. I am such a happy bunny right now.....
