I do really enjoy reading these Friday and Saturday night threads when I get up on Saturday and Sunday mornings!! I always get such a great laugh out of them!!

Lovely day here and feeling much more optimistic. No, Mum not coming home - she got an infection on Thursday, which because she is 85 and has a failing heart, knocked her over pretty badly. Yesterday, I wasn't sure she was going to make it. this morning, she only looks about 80 and was rattling on about how pleased she was that Rio had got the Olympics bid, in a way that suggested that she might like to be around to see it!

Meanwhile, the last ditch treatment that they were using for my brother hasn't worked, and yesterday they told his daughter that he probably only has about 2 weeks left. Today they have discharged him from hospital and he is heading off to do a gig tonight - he is a musician, and music is his whole life. I'm really happy that he will get to do that. I'm going up to see him briefly for Monday night/Tuesday.

So today feels like a day of celebrating life!! I got into the spirit of things by getting my legs and underarms waxed, in preparation for shorts and togs!!

Right now we are off to do kid things for the afternoon!

Morning all
Its looks like a lovely day here, its so nice to wake up and not rush about (still in pj's)
I am hoping to do some weeding then maybe tomorrow I can actually get to buy some plants to put in.
I have my best mate from the UK comming over this month then I have the in-laws after that so I want make the garden look pretty. Saturday is usally a few drinks day (not to much) but I am hopping to go A/F today.
Have'nt been around lately so I dont know whats happening around here, but I hope you are all well and have a great day
