Angel well done on your AF time, you are doing so well, I think I might join you for the rest of the month, if you dont mind. I am modding at the moment but I can see that my drinking is slowly creeping up again and I dont want to lose control again, so I am doing this just to keep myself in check, plus I would like to lose some weight before my best friend comes over from the UK for a holiday, as she is so skinny there is NO WAY I could sit next to her on the beach at the moment......lol

Good morning all,
well midday actually here.

I have indeed walked 2k today on my machine so am content with that for the day. However Starty has alerted me to the dangers of codine withdrawal I am determined not to take any more of that shite. Luckily I don't take that much at the mo so probably not a worry. Will taper down over next day or so to ZERO! There is always panadol if the exercise gets too much.. and there is always this site if I can't sleep - much gratitude to all for being here!! and welcome Spun Me & kids are addicted to omgpop.com just now - an arcade style live online game site where we can play each other & mates OS... verrrrrry silly but addictive as hell!

That appleblossom pic is from my garden and after I took the pic I realised two tiny little yellow birds were courting amongst the blossoms.. so sweet! The little guy is actually in the pic but practically impossible to see (top centre).

Coming up to 30 AF days tomorrow and with the exercise the euphoria is kicking in (which is a dangerous stage for me usually) so am warning I may get sillier than ever. Hey and by the way what day is Mr G celebrating 11 months?

hi all, yes I'm back. Bro was pretty good - much better than expected. What has become clear is that what the medics are expecting is a sudden dramatic ending, rather than a slow prolonged one (wont go into details, but it is because of where the cancer is situated). And Mum home from hospital. Very weak and quite depressed about how little she is able to manage in relation to what she has always done .... she has finally given in to having meals on wheels, and some home support. Think she just needs a couple of days to work out the stuff she can do (as opposed to what she cant). But she is incredibly independent and hates to have to rely on other people for things or accept help.

Have been indulging myself with kittens for the last hour - they have just started to walk and play with each other and are incredibly cute. Makes me feel very happy in the middle of this chaos!! Tip - the little ginger one looks just like you!!

Meant to say - i couldn't post while I was away, but I could get onto MWO on my i-pod touch. Was really nice to be able to do that, even if I couldn't participate!! (and I dont have much of a sense of humour at the moment anyway!!)
