If your Mandrel has fret's, remove them. Some fool has put them on, and wouldn't surprise me either if the idiot put a bloody pick up in it. The Vented Mandrel is traditionally, a fretless instrument. It would not be appropriate either, at this time, to share traditional stringing techniques.
