Sorry about the blowies and the window Reg .... obviously too much power to your arm!
Here it is the slugs that are gi-normous this year - planted summer spinach and cos lettuce a couple of weeks ago when it was looking like an early summer, but since then we have had lots of rain.
Tawny - meant to say that I really like your acknowledgement of people's birthdays!!
Angel - hope you enjoyed the high tea!! No comments on the 2- year old .... but one day I will tell you about having a large Fanta poured over me in the middle on McDonalds as a (foster) child had a massive tantrum about where we were to sit!!
Bridge ... best laugh I had all day was about you pretending to be a penis!!!
In a bid to get some normality, today I accepted an invitation to pizza night tomorrow ... very good friends, and it wont be a late one, but I had sort of promised myself an AF night in preparation for an early start swimming on Saturday and day in the garden. I can do AF at home on my own, but find it much harder in a social situation. I understand completely your irritation with yourself Bridge ..... I get so sick of going through all the same arguments in my head. And I can choose to be AF and no-one will even comment or suggest otherwise. As I read somewhere in the boards today, it is all in my head.
Okay, I'm talking myself into this - I can do it!!
Was going to spend lots of time on MWO tonight, but got in late after trying to catch up on some work. Was also going to have lots of vegies, but ate a la Weight Watchers frozen meal instead. Uncle Mame is a very rare bad mood (I've called on his reserves a lot lately) ........ time to put some effort in his direction.

Author is Liz Jamieson-Hastings and it is her first book. It is a new release. She does lots of work with young people about the dangers of alcohol .... and has been sober for 40 years. I'm enjoying it so far anyway!! But I was sort of in the mood for a wake up call today .....Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

Oh Mame, I read the blurb & an interview in Womans Day over there...man, she had it bad, was just addicted to booze from the get go, and this was back in the 60's - I kinda imagine everyone being pretty straighty 180 back then.
Yes, that's the 2yr old sleeping blissfully in the Bay of Islands in NZ - gorgeous gorgeous place - he looks like an angel no?? Yeah well that's his deadliest weapon. PIssed myself laughing at your post BTW (Bridge)
Oh and Reggie, I hate it when the blowie picks up the feckin' slipper and throws it back at me...bastards.
