Teri,
I suppose if you are well & happy with your life as it is now then there is no need to make a change.
MWO has meant a lot to me, really helped me out of a bad time. I hope it's around for a long, long time to come to help others like me. If you change your mind in the future and decide to make a change then I hope we can be here for you!
Wishing you the best.

Hi Teri,
I don't know your particular circumstances, but I wonder how possible it would be for you to make the changes needed to your life (the one without alcohol) so that it's happier and more fulfilled ?
I'm thinking if you could manage that, maybe you wouldn't need alcohol as an escape ?
I know it's an easy thing for me to say.Vicious cycle is, the booze seems rob us of the motivation to manage our life in a better way.
Good luck with it.
Bridget. If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Red, I think you need to re-read Lav's message to you. It was not condescending in any way. That just wouldn't be like Lavande.
You statedMy life was not good before AL and at least it is bearable now.
In any case... don't matter. No, you don't sound happy honey and I'm terribly sorry. I, or 100 other people here, can tell you that AL is not the answer but until and unless you believe that yourself and make a firm commitment, it means nothing.
PM me anytime you like, Red... I've struggled, too and I'd be very happy to talk to you anytime.
Take good care,
Gina.Okay, WHO put a stop payment on my reality check?
