I always make Sunday dinner. It is a must in this house. I was raised eating Sunday dinner and I have continued that for my kids. We will go to church in awhile and then home to have dinner. Usually have an extra friend or two to eat with us.
Rubes, I am so jealous! I love good finds like that. I have a beautiful buffet hutch and china cabinet in my diningroom that I love. I got a Fluter yesterday. I had been looking and looking for one and finally found one on Ebay. It is from 1886. Really cool!

Great tradition, Britt. T called, and all is well. He's on schedule with his journey, but since there's not a lot of fun for Tony (son) I told him my cabin is in a little resort town. He feels better about telling him there's something to look forward too. He'll see you soon, Britt!

Everyone sounds great!!! I used to love "antiquing" back in the day when I had dreams of having a nice house to raise a family...........I guess that changed over the years somehow, that and $$ situation!? Who knows, maybe some day that will change???

I had a wonderful day, besides the home situation, but I can deal w/ that so much better lately........just know it is not forever, it helps.......

Went riding w/ my girlfriend, another girl called me wanting to ride Tues.......not working will be wonderful for a while.........

OK, a windy, rainy, cold (use all your adjectives!!) morning. Must have been what kept me under the covers so late this AM. MA, remember it's not always the $ that make the antiqueing fun. I spent (and still do) so much time looking at things I can't afford, but they're fun to look at and teach me a lot about what to look for. I love 'finds' and they're good to assets in the long run.
Britt, I'm sure T and son will be SO happy to reach you. Have you talked to him? If not I'll pm you with the details of his stay with mom!!!
BTW, WTF is a fluter? Need to put a new word in my antique dictionary.

Hubs and I are both sick right now, but will be better soon. T is working hard at his mom's. Think he has his hands full there. He'll be going to Britt's on Friday, then we'll meet at the cabin and I hope Greenie will be able to join us. I'm planning to keep him and Tony well fed and entertained with the local features. Wish SO much you could be here.

Hi gearshifters, things a bit hectic here as we are getting my dad ready for going in for a triple bypass operation on friday. We work together as well so we are trying to get everything in order as he will not be able to come back to work for at least 8 weeks. Anyway hope that all of the shifters are still shifting!!! hey there gear shifters .. im having computer and mwo withdrawls .. lmao but anyway all is well and anthony ad i are doing great.. he has been helping so much with cleaning house ... and he open his mouth and got his foot in it and we are doing more moving things around later tonight .. and well just enjoying the time here .. it so diferent then fl .. and i love the quiet .. but anyway thank you all and missing you all ..

Brit went back to school yesterday. She is still kinda weak and tired, but she made it through the day. She tucked in early last night though. Zak is still well. I am praying he doesn't get it. He has been so onry lately. I think it is hormones!!! UH....2 teenagers...I am about to have 2. Heaven help me!!!!
