been a bit quiet.

i adore meer cats. i was very lucky to actually sit in a pen with them at a wild life park and they crawled all over me. they are amazing and very very curious.

There's a program called "Meerkat Manor" on National Geographic. It was shot (I think) in the Kalahari desert in the Northern Cape province.

Fascinating stuff!

I agree Tipps. the army has been very quiet and I have to admit, when I see it like that, I don't even bother posting.....which kinda defeats the purpose...

In typical Irish fashion: the ONLY EU nation who hasn't agreed to the new EU constitution.

I love this topic (the EU), by the way - I specialised in it during my postgrad studies.

The EU has compromised by giving Ireland guarantees w.r.t. to their (Ireland's) stance on things like military involvement and abortion.

Your concerns have been addressed. Vote yes. If you don't the whole of Europe suffers... can you imagine how the politicos will enjoy spending your tax money on yet more tedious meetings at luxury venues to renegotiate?
