New N/A drink-- pretty good stuff!

I found this drink called "FUZE" at Sam's Club. They were giving out samples, so of course I had to partake. Bought a case.
It's little slogans are "lose weight, gain energy" and "healthy infuzions". Slenderize.
It comes in a few flavors like Tropical Punch, Tangerine Grapefruit, Melon...somethinorother...
Anyhow, ,it's only 10 calories per bottle and 2 carbs (big bottle, 18oz, good way to get those fluids in), and it states it has this stuff in it:

Chromium:40mcg: for an intense boost of energy
Vitamin C-135mg: an antioxidant essential for vision, growth and healthy skin. known to promote healing
Super Citrimax-450mg: known to suppress appetite, reduce conversion of carbohydrates into fat and promote weight loss
L-Carnitine-45mg: an amino acid which boosts energy.
I dunno. I was getting sick of diet coke and crystal light! It tastes really good. Even hubby likes it! They do say not to let kids drink it because of the appetite suppressant... not sure how potent it is, but I'd keep it an adult drink I suppose.
Just thought I'd share the find! Especially for the Muffins. :H :l

I've tried it before but thought it was a little expensive.....maybe I'll try to find it at a Sam's Club.

I'm a little tired if diet coke too....crystal light grapefruit is still pretty darn good though

Hey lisa, I think it was around $11or so for a case of 12 , so that's not too bad considering they are big bottles. Much less than when you buy the singles. Yeah, I've seen them other places like the health food store for close to 2 bucks each. They have a website too... don't know if you can order it there or not.

Thanks for the grapefruit Crystal Light tip as well. I really do not like ingesting Splenda or aspartame or any of that but I have realized it is the lesser of three evils; alcohol, sugar or artificial sweeteners. I do limit myself to no more than 2 a day of artificial drinks but I wish there was a healthier choice. I drink tons of seltzer water but that gets old too......I just want wine!!!

It's funny how wine doesn't "GET OLD" with us, isn't it???

Anyway, I don't think Fuze has artificial sweeteners in it. Sujul (Susan) drinks it, I believe. Glad you mentioned it Becca, and that it is available in bulk form at Sam's Club!

Does anyone know what the lowdown is about Splenda? When it first came out, everyone was saying it didnt cause cancer and was so much better than Nutrasweet because it was made from real sugar. Now everywhere I go, people freak if they see me using Splenda! I use a lot of it I admit... a teaspoon in each of my three cups of coffee every morning, I drink Crystal Light Lemonade like there is no tomorrow and I even substitute it any every recipe that calls for sugar.

I was just wondering what exactly is it and just HOW bad is it for me??

Thanks Becca.... I was just heading out the door to Costco to load up on stuff for the weekend, so glad I saw the recommendation! I'll try it, and hey... its cheaper than wine!!

You can find a study to support the good and bad of Splenda. Personally I despise it but I think it is healthier than sugar so I do allow myself 2 diet sodas a day. I do not think it is healthy to be ingesting but then again neither is wine............
