Hi
Well, I am at day 3 again and can't stop crying, have a horrible headache, and feel like crap. Any suggestions? However, I don't feel the need to drink, have been going to AA meetings and they are awesome. Just not sure what to do about the crying (maybe I just need to cry???) Help if you can

Millie, It's quite normal to have a headache in the early days. It's just your body healing itself. They'll soon pass. Try and drink plenty of fluids.

As for having a good cry. It's very cleansing. I always feel so much better after one.

Well I wasn't going to post on this thread anymore as the detox is over.
But following Betty Boops lead. (her thread gave me the inspiration to post this one).

Ok I have 2 weeks now. Yeah !!!!!
I'm feeling really good.
Haven't really had any cravings as about day 5/6. (Thank God)!!!
Eating better.
Sleep is still an issue though.
But it to is getting better.
The Campral and the supps. are really doing their job.
SOOOO glad I have them and you all for support !!
Don't think I could have got this far with out both !

Went and played my first sober round of golf ever!!
Didn't think I could do that!
Had lots of fun and played fairly well!!

Spent last weekend with my girls. (so lifted my heart)!!!
First that I had seen them in a month.
They both expressed how proud they are of me!
We went and played golf on Sat. and had a BLAST !!!!
Would have never done that sober.

I am no longer at the ex in-laws.
Been at home for the last couple of days now.
So very lonely here !!! (that is why I'm here so many hours a day)!!!
But I have not encountered the BEAST !!!! (If he shows up I'll KILL the fucker)!!!!!
Sorry about the language but feel really strongly about that!!!

Well guess that is it for now.

Hey there you all,
Well got 20 days down !!!!!! YEAH !!!!!
I would have never thought that this was possible !!
Doing GREAT !!
Feeling GREAT !!!

My realtionship with the girls is way better.
They actually want to see me.
Just spent this weekend with them.
We just spent time and enjoyed eachothers company had a great time !!

I'm doing great with the AF plan !!
I haven't had any cravings so far. (the Campral and Supps. are really working)
I have to confess, I went out to the bars 2 nights last week.
(Before you get pissed at me I have already been scolded)
Anyway went out and never even wanted a drink !!!
Just had water !!
The thought never crossed my mind to orded a drink !!! (fecking amazing!!!!)
The whole thing was a real eyeopener for me.
I finally saw what I was like !! (What a ass I was !!!)

I know I probally pushing my luck by even putting myself in that position.
Again already been scolded.
But those friends are leaving town to another job so I will not have that temptation anymore.
So don't worry about me in that manner.

Thank you all so much for the support !!!
Keep praying for me.
I'm still in a fight for my life!!
But for the first time I feel like I have the upper hand in the battle !!
