ak girl, wouldn't you feel like more of a failure if you never get sober and raise your son drunk? i know that my daughter (who's 11) is relieved that i drink MUCH less ie: never! (and never again hopefully). she knows i come here and knows that i need to in order to get support from folks who understand. i believe that she knew what was up when i was drinking and now feels secure in the fact that i am trying my best to not drink...they know, for sure.
honesty is best in my humble opinion...not brutal hadcore stroies f falling down drunk, but that you feel lke you have a pronblem and you wan to change. i think he will appreciate it.
