    ARMY THREAD 8th oct

Tip: My husband does know - but he doesn't mention it because he is afraid that I will ask him to stop (which I have in the past many times). He doesn't think he has a problem - and didn't think I had a problem but, alas, drinking 6-8 large drinks every night of the week is a problem in my book - at least for me. Thanks for asking.
Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God.

He'll get over it Tip as will you. Often we THINK nobody knows how much we drink only to find out they were quite aware of it. How did Mrs T react?

I'm about to take another big step too: I've finally found the name of an open-minded phsychiatrist, so I'll be making an appointment.
Best thing I ever did, its been a real help. Good luck Tip.

            I hope so, Birdie...

Opes, unfortunately Mrs. T had to go to book club, so she was only there just after we got home. By the time he started his interrogation of why I wasn't drinking, she had already left. I was surprisingly calm about telling him...

He was very uncomfortable, but did ask questions... He even wanted to know if I thought he drank too much :H

So much more credit to you then

I couldn't have done it without Mrs. T's support!

Maybe he knows he drinks too much Tip and that is what was making him uncomfortable.

One of the funniest moments was when he told me that him and his partner can easily finish half a bottle of whisky every evening, and not feel drunk in the least, so they MUST be OK... He EVEN had an AF evening last week...

                  :H :H :H

He left after two beers, though. Normally we would each have had six or a bottle of wine (each). AND I would have necked the vodka from my stash cupboard :H

                              Alrighty, Opes

As much as I enjoy your company, this place is a bit dead tonight - I'll pop in again a bit later. I think I deserve a nice cup of tea, and I think I spotted a slice of cheescake that I've hidden from the cubs
