Hi guys,
Just a quick check in from me since last week.
Believe it or not I ended up with swine flu, either that or mad cow disease kicked in after all these years!. Seriously though, it has been awful, went to the doctor with it and they did not do tests but reckon from the signs it is it, plus there have been a lot of cases where i live (which is why they have given up on doing tests). Hope the rest of the clan don;t come down with it, hubby is already 90% crankier than usual so not a good sign.
Hope everyone else is doing well, at least this cannot be transmitted via the net!

the best one was when she managed to get hold of a tube of super glue and some cotton wool at the same time. she wandered round for ages looking like Santa.

i didn't dare pull it off in case it hurt,

My boy had it about July. It was awful to see a great lad (6' 2" )like him so poorly. Luckily no-one else in the house got it.

Hi Opal, Starting and All,
Yes a wild dose it has been, it's strange though as at times I have felt ok and then literally within hours have felt dreadful. On Friday night last I really had lost the will to live, had to go up the stairs on all fours and crawled into bed. Yet Saturday afternoon felt ok enough to go shopping for groceries, sort of the same today.
Anyway, hopefully on the mend soon, just hope hubby does not come down with it as he already took some time off to help me this week and when he takes time off, they dock him for every day he is off. It's really mean as he works so hard but with Christmas and everything coming up we just cannot afford for his wages to be any crappier than they already are.
