Baclofen stops craving so it is an antidote. Try it, it works. Stop wallowing in this "hitting rock bottom" nonsense and get better.
It took me to hit my rock bottom to get better,I used AA & group therapy & here, i did not use any medication what so ever, as with my addictive personality i was afraid i would swap one addiction for another,so far that has worked for me

Bit of a bump for newbies.
In case you don't realize that the first post contains the links to the whole documentary.
Seeing this thread at the top of the page every day is a stark reminder of where I don't want to end up.

Day one and I just watched the "Rain In My Heart" Documentary. What a powerful message. I am overwhelmed by the courage displayed by Mark and Vanda in particular. Courage to put their stories out there to help others.

It is wonderful to be a part of your community (although wouldn't it be great if none of us needed it?) and not thinking I can do this by sheer force of will on my own. I think the documentary was just what I needed to kickstart this journey. :new:
