    I'm so frustrated.....

I've "accidently" been doing The Sinclair Method, when what I want is to be AF. I take Naltrexone twice a day (100mg total)... and normally I have been unable to really drink in high volumes. However, I have noticed in the last week (I've been on Nal for 3 months), I am drinking in greater quantities (a Pint or more). Not getting drunk like I used to (I guess because of the Naltrexone?)... but I am getting so upset with myself for even drinking, period. And now that the volume is increasing I am feeling more hopeless.

I am currently going to Integrated NeuroScience in Missouri, and my goal is to be AF. They use Vivitrol shots (which, because of my insurance, I have missed twice), so my doctor said that Naltrexone would curb my cravings in the meantime. Nal has helped, but not like I had hoped. I brought up Baclofen to my doctor and he said it wasn't as effective as Naltrexone.

I just want to be sober. :upset:

Any advice? Any suggestions? Your experiences????

    Thanks for listening,
    Renee

I guess I put this on the wrong board?
