Hello No.3, not an ignorant question at all! Yeah, as Tippers said, we present a united front for fighting the good fight against AL!

We come from various backgrounds, I for one come from an Air Force background ('cos i used to get so high on booze :H) and Tips comes from a Special Forces background where he uses his panther-like wit and lightning-quick reactions to beat the foe!

How about you? Whats your background?

Hi there Chook! It started over a year ago when few of us wanted to do 30 days AF, it was called it the AF army, over time it just morphed into the Army thread, no military connections at all, just a chat thread really although we all have the same goal in mind.

Hi!

Thanks for the warm welcome! I asked because I am actually married to an ex-serviceman and know that they do like to keep to themselves sometimes..so did not want to intrude as such!

Strangely enough, my hubby is ex-navy, but I've always preferred the Aussie army uniform..the slouch hat you know LOL!
