I hope he cares for him/her properly.....do you have specialist bird sanctuaries over there that could help out?

Yes we have places like that but not close to where I am, the best I know of is in Cape Town. Will see how the bird is doing and then decide on what to do after that!

I don't think so - We just picked the wrong weekend! Where we went to is a predominately Muslim area and they are all still celebrating Eid with their families.Minnie x
