    Hi Paula,
    That indeed, is very sad news. This just validates the fact that this is a fatal diseased if not addressed. I don't think many people really understand that. If it is any consolation, it does make me think....... Hugs.

        Hi Paula,

        My condolences on the loss of your friend. Thank you for sharing this story. It is painful but necessary, and drives home the point of why we are here and why we must do whatever it takes to get the monster under control. Love and prayers to you and her family. May she rest in peace.

          I'm so sorry you've lost a friend, especially to alcohol. I lost one the same way 1.5 years ago. I think since AL is so acceptable we tend to forget how dangerous it really can be. Like you said...doesn't make sense to poison ourselves!

            Paula that is tragic, I am sorry for your loss. Condolences to her family and friends. RIP
            As has been pointed out, a stark reminder that but for the Grace of God many of us could be facing a similar fate.
            Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?
