Greyhounds make beaut pets, I have put two retired dogs through our adoption programme and they have lovely homes. It's such a huge weight off your mind knowing they can retire as peoples pets.JackieClaire;745468 wrote: Hey Zeppie,

So glad you put the doggies through a retirement home.
Lily came from a greyhound rescue society. She'd been really badly treated and she's now terrified of men.It could be worse, I could be filing.

Most trainers I know put their dogs through the adoption centre, plus I have 5 retired ones here myself, lounging around the place. NZ only has a small population of greys compared to UK and I think at the moment there is a waiting list of people wanting pets. So that is greatIt's time I put my big girl pants on. :grannypants: I hope they fit.Comment
