yes starts,and looking forward to it,A lovely friend is leaving after his 9 month program,we are all going out for lunch,should be great as we all get on well.

Isnt it wonderful to see success stories?
I would be very interested to hear more about your aftercare group.
What do you do, what helps, is there a good success rate etc?

in our aftercare group we all talk about whats going on in our lifes,some talk more than others,(like me) but i am also a good listner,the success rate has to be very good but dont really know as you loose touch with a lot of the people when they leave,

So its like an ongoing support group once you have some sobriety under your belt?
Is there any structure to it?

correct,first you have a three month alcohol awareness course and if you complete that you go on to an aftercare group for 9 months,there is then on monday nights an aftercare support group,bit like AA that you can go to,but we all have each others ph numbers and emails and we are all from completely different backgrounds,so for me its great.
