    Army Thread 30th October

    Hi Lady Jan,

Know exactly where you are coming from with the dietry issues! Nearly at 3 months AF, I have a couple of new kilos to loose, but I am now going to Curves (the gym that Doggygirl had such success with) and have settled down with my food cravings.

My feeling is rather stay AF, indulge a little, and get through the first couple of months. Drink loads of water, lemon, ginger and honey flavoured black herbal tea, and if you crave something sweet, wine gums probably have the fewest calories-that and liquorice.

Yep, thats wot I feel as well, I'd rather get the AF under control even gaining some curves, oohh la la !!

got time to go the gym later once I'm stronger coz am still weak, but my skin feels better, not tight on my face and my eyes not got that puffy morning look,

even started taking care in my apperance now

taking care of my hair..even bought some new clothes, starting to care about me & my health, realised I DON'T want to die, my boy needs his mum & I need him.
Not freaking out if I run out of booze in the house and running out looking a right mess to get my stock..

my house is really orgnised and tidy now..

been at it for 37 years and I reckon thats enough!

        :l :l

I just dragged on a bit and am sorting out the things I ignored. There is a bit to it. Starty I gottta do that before I tackle my nasty house! Then the tundra, but gott figure out how to fix it first. It's hard to be the hubby AND wife. Not really, it's mostly easier :H

that first weekend was very, very hard, I was off & on sleeping taking my BAC,

then when waking come to to here, my safe zone, kept reading all your posts over & over and then go back to sleep

I had to get to some level of clean before monday morning incase I had to do the breath test..

on the monday when I left the house all I had in my head was pictures of this site and the threads I had read and couldn't wait to get home and plug in !!!!

I so want my boy back and in January & I WILL I am determined..

                    Oliver

yes thats my lovely baby boy, Oliver "Ollie"

he turned 7 last month, gonna have my visit with him tomorrow morning and take him out to the park with a little picnic I take for him,

they have relaxed the visits so much now with him...a really good sign that things are going well, I just have to prove for the next 10 weeks the test results are negative.

                      Hi LJ,

You've got a little heartbreaker there.

I watched your journey with Tips and Starty. They're bloody stars aren't they?

yep they sure are, had so much good advice from all of them, also in pm.

I don't like to talk bad about AA, coz they have been going a long time and do help people.

I went a couple of times, but to be honest it was so depressing, didn't inspire me to beat it or feel any support, in fact I left the meeting, stopped on my way home and had three very large vodka & lemon, didn't make me wanna stop made me wanna drink !!!!!!!!!!

unlike here, we are all in the same boat :- good, bad, getting better, falling down again, sad, happy, lonely, needing support & need to give support, (that in itself is theroputic..)

I love this site I feel connected to all of you, I remember from the start, if I went quiet for a little bit, the guys would say "hey jan are you ok?? we are a bunch of worriers when it's quiet..."

I find myself doing the same now, following peoples stories and chipping in with my bit of help.

it's my safe zone.. love it
