    Ho hum.. my horse scratched eh, and Reggies.. ahhh another embuggerance like those black doggy days (known only too well by me).. not to worry Wavey, this too shall pass!
    Have just spent an hour trying to coax very nervous dog of mine to sit still while I put antibiotic cream into a neck wound (dawg knows how he got it) and he is now quietly sitting looking very pissed off on the floor with a bandage . He's acting as if I put him in a party frock or something.. sheesh!!

      I did a funny thing this arvi....stopped drinking
      Lost dismally on the sweeps...not unusual....tried to press on , but ...'epic fail' as the boy would say....helped along by a most ALMIGHTY case of acid reflux.

        Hi Fick's. My old dog, in heaven now, had a wound in his leg that had to be bandaged up for awhile. He didn't like it much, but on our walk's he loved it, as mostly women would stop and fuss over him. At first, i thought i was onto something, but, alas, they only had eyes for him. Hope your dog get's well soon.

                  Bad day here and i had wine. It was a big pity party. Stayed on the boards for a lot of the day but I was feeling too self-indulgent. I'm not going to post about it here and when I'm still feeling the after affects. But part of starting the No-bender thread was about making me face up to my day-afters and managing how the real world is. So I shall do that tomorrow. And I do that in the knowledge that I have both support and people behind me with experience that gives them the backbones of steel that I aspire to. So thanks for that and I'll do some (better) reflecting once I've had a good sleep.

                          Well Reg, whenever i'd bring a woman home, they'd spin the old line of....'you can tell a person by the way they treat their dog' etc..which has some truth, so, i suspect the whole me and dog package got things a movin' quicker than they otherwise might've!
                          Some dog's look really embarrased being dressed up like eedjiot's, poor thing's. Now THAT, say's something about an owner. I wouldn't date a woman who think's that's cute.
