Ach, shite day. Hysterical crying this morning, angst over 'the job' life and the universe etc. am blaming either the full moon or hormones - but it looks like a few of us have had a peculiar few days? A major gym session sorted me out, but it just feels a bit ridiculous to be having the vapours over nowt.

Ficks - I can't believe your back at work!

Mr G - as Ukuleles seem to be quite 'the thing' at the minute I'm thinking of a mandolin or banjo instead. Banjo is winning at the min - I wonder how many banjo teachers there are in SIngers tho

I haven't read very far back, but take care everyone.

if so, I have seen them at a roost in rockhampton, was amazing to see 20,000 tiny bats fly out of a whole in the mountain to feed for the night. there were frogs and snakes waiting to try to pluck one out of the air, was an interesting evening.
or was it just a pick you found...lol

More of the same for me today - seriously preparing for bushfire season. All the grass is mown down and it's my last chance to burn off any fallen branches etc. It's actually really nice at the moment - the grass is still green and the whole place looks like a golf course. Guess by Christmas it will turn into a dust bowl.

There is bound to be a banjo player, either amongst the ex-pat community, or in one of the Irish theme pub band's? Otherwise, how about a Chinese stringed instrument?
Will do Mame. Going into work, and getting out of the house might be a good thing?
Sounds like you're on top of thing's there, ST. Are your fire hose connection's and pump's all sound, presuming you have such a set up? Petrol run pump's? Plenty of juice? (shut up city slicker)
Not been shopping for suitable attire as yet Angel, but must be done by sat.

I feel very grateful to not be hungover this morning...however, my kids are putting the kybosh on any good feelings....little angels, no really...angelic...
