Minnie - thanks doll...needed to vent. Mr Cakes has to work late tonight...a long time ago that would've been the perfect opportunity for me to get comfortably numb with no-one but me to care about. Tonight I'm looking forward to an early dinner with the kiddies & some shite TV with chocolate, followed by bed & a good book.

We may stay home and watch my new John Le Carre DVD instead.
You hang on in there Angel .... I''ll get out my accountant voo-doo doll.
Aspman - I'm speechless. Seriously!
Just came back from mum's who is about 5000% better than she has been for months. I cant believe the difference that 24 hours has made - and really dont understand it as she hasn't had anything different!!Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

Looks like I'm back inside for a while due to hayfever. The cockies have started cutting oaten hay and I'm sneezing like nobody's business.
Aspy - I've got a lot of stumpytails and love them. Also some really beautiful little - I think they might be geckos - very velvety-looking - I find them under bark when I'm splitting logs. I've got tigers and browns and the occasional red-bellied black down here and I have a healthy regard for all of them. Beautiful critters; they're welcome to share my space but I sh&t bricks if I think they're going to get in the house.

admire from adistance is a good plan. I have removed snakes from peeps homes before, it can be quite fun. one guy stood on the outdoor table as i grabed the blue tounge lizz from his woodpile. when he said "thats not a snake, I dont think i shoud pay you to remove that'. I calmly told him he could go down that path, and i could retun the lizz to the woodpile along with the two browns id caught eailer the day. let me tell you, his wallet came out of his pocket at near light speed...
fun times.
I dont hang out with the old snake mates much but I know people who breed most types of aussie snakes, red bellys are so sweet.AF since 10/26/2009

Mame - it's a YESSSS!
A chainsaw-wielding bloke offered to buy my wood splitter (because I've now splat all there was to split) and that makes the finances o.k. I'm actually surprised at the price of the new iMac. The one I want it's $AU 2199 ... I don't want to sound wanky, but that's actually not bad. So ... I've ordered one.

Tried to find a green smiley to show you how jealous I am!!!
I'm going to settle for a second hand 2007 version ......... my laptop is on its last legs, but I cant really afford a new anything. I dont really need my home one to be portable any more (we bought a Mac book air for the office) and I've really enjjoyed my I-Mac. And since the new ones have come out, the prices on Trade Me have dropped like a stone!!Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

Evening folk's!
A grand day down here today, and should be beaut for the w/kend too. Yeehaw!
Great news re your mum Mame!
Angel, i hate beurocracies at the best of times, especially the 9 to 5 knob head's you've got to deal with, who really couldn't give a stuff, and worse, actually don't know their job. (don't get me started!) Who hires these idiot's?! You're dead right. No reason to drink. You are much, much bigger than that!
Wonder how Coach Ronnie and Pan are going?
Hope all's well out there! Stay strong and think positive.

Ugh...I know. It looks like I may have to pay some tax back - ugh. Anyway, I just think my kids are healthy, I can deal as long as I have MrCakes on my side, people are dealing with much worse in their lives.
Anyway, was feeling pretty shite this evening but got through it and now the feelinig/craving (whatever it was) has passed. Tomorrow will be brighter and I'm pumped to kick arse at the gym tomorrow.
