Wedgie: you rock!!!
I loved the attention I got for 30 days, but that's me - whether I never got it when I was little or I'm just an attention-seeker is neither here nor there.
But you will carry it with you for a long time, public celebration or not.I'll do whatever it takes

I was so out of it, for so long, that just getting the basics right feels like a victory of sorts.I'll do whatever it takes

Morning all! Up and at 'em!!
Trying to be grateful that its monday :H
I got very worried last night when our big fluffy Wookie cat hadn't been seen all day. It is unknown for him to not be at the food bowl on an hourly basis!!! He's not very keen on the foster kittens being around and, immediately catastrophising things I thought he might have decided to leave home (!!) or alternatively that he might have wandered somewhere where someong thought he was a stray and decided to "look after" him. Anyway, after having spent all afternoon and evening calling him and searching absolutely everywhere, we went off to bed .... only to have him emerge from our clothes cupboard (where we had already checked - but there are a couple of dark corners!) wanting dinner!!
Thank dog I was never a parent!!!!Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

Morning all!
Ahh, a week off here, (Fick's) before new job. Yeah! I feel a bit ripped off with a public holiday being in there, and if that's all i can complain about right now, then life's pretty feckin' good. Of course, i could go on and on about men's health, the higher profile and resources that need's, or making poverty history, (and i do) but i shall instead be grateful that i got off my arse to change my life, and the ever diminishing appearances of embuggerance, that that bring's.
Pump it up Reggie!
I'm looking forward to how your first day back at work went Fick's? How was it?
Best wishes to the No-benderer's here.
How are you Bridge?

Morning all...I'm feeling a little melancholy today. Had a huge one on Sat night and now I'm depressed (mentioning for anyone lurking - learn from my mistake) and I also readthe posts from Bella and feel sad for her...I really hope she gets her shit together.
Anyway, I'm off to get an endorphin high now.
Enjoy your day G...and Reggie, you're kicking arse mate.

Morning Y'all
They're pulling your leg Tippy...it's not a horse race...it's Cane Toad race....everyone gets dressed up and spends a fortune on a nice hat, then we all walk to Melbourne and put our Cane Toads on the road in Flemmington, then we flick their bums back to Sydney. This is usually acheived while getting absolutely RAT ARSED, and eating our own body weight in small goods.
Sad to say I'm on the same old treadmill Mr G...but tiring of it very VERY quickly.
Unfortunately, I don't suffer horrendous hangovers like some other souls. I just get lazy and de motivated mostly, and , as with last night wake up at 12-1 am and thrash and turn like a frigging maniac (but not in the good way).....cue another tired demotivated day....
But no pity party here.Well aware of what has to happen. I have a Melbourne Cup Cane Toad event tomorrow, and then I think it's quitski for me.
Happy with that.
I think we were seperated at birth Angel. Let's just hope we weren't joined at the liver.:H
BridgeIf your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Arvo all,
I'll be back later but just in case you need some reading matter (non-booze related) - I've been following Jessica Watson's blog. Although I'm totally nervous about this whole thing, it's great reading: Jessicawatson.com.au
