Hey Davo,

I've thought carefully before posting this. The squirrel who shall remain nameless will probably berate me afterward, but so be it.

Your decision to post details about me that I've only ever shared with you, left me feeling hurt at first. As one post after another appeared, however, the feeling of betrayal was replaced by a sense of empowerment. I realised that I no longer have to live in shame. Most of what happened to me in my life is not my fault. Those things that I did have control over, I take full responsibility for, and am working toward fixing.

The two of us have been through a lot in the few months since we met. I'll remain grateful to you for having a very good insight into people in general, and me in particular. You also have good insight into yourself - if only you would act upon it. For my part, I'd like to think I've made a difference. Only you can be the judge of that.

I'll leave you alone from now on, as you've requested. But allow me to challenge you one last time:

Give MWO, and the NDT in particular, a chance to work its magic. You are so fucking full of shit, and yet these people are always there to support you. Give yourself a chance, will you, by reaching out to others? If it hadn't been for MWO, I would still have been a wreck of a has-been. I am proud to be here, not embarrassed.

Tomorrow, I'll be 90 days AF. Yes, you can scoff. Its nothing compared to almost two decades of alcoholism. I realise that. But I've made a start. When will you? You don't even think you're an alcoholic, so how difficult can it be?

If only you'd care about yourself as much as others do, you'll become the great person I know you can be.

I'll be taking a leave of absence from the NDT for a while. You had fucking better not. Don't you dare give up on yourself, or on this place.

In other news this morning...I'm going to meet an agent today to discuss jobs. I'm really starting to think I'd like to go live outside of Sinney - the hills around Bellingen maybe??

Hey Chookie,
I am not a very fast swimmer so to body surf I have to try like 100 times before I catch a wave... it is truly the most exhillarating feeling when I finally make it! :H
I did try to learn to surf years ago & was given a lesson by surfy boyfriend. He put me in one of his wetsuits.. we were not quite built the same so once zipped in, the shoulders of the suit came up to around my ears and the arse was so tight that I had to walk like a robot penguin. He then gave me a huge heavy old surboard which was probably twice my length & about 8 times my weight, explained about how to catch a rips 'out the back' & how to swim sideways to get on or off the rip... then off I went.
After floating around for an hour or two and trying unsuccessfully to paddle fast enough in my boa constrictor suit to catch a wave.. enduring the shame of being jeered by surfer dudes who could not understand what a girl was doing out there in the first place & getting in their way... I suffered the ultimate humiliation... I was caught by the hook of a beach fisherman and had to paddle in to return it.
With burning red face & ears I stomped off penguin style back up the beach to the bush swearing I would never EVER lay a hand on a surfboard again! :upset::H:upset:

Glad to see you in better spirits. Very nicely said. Just know that remorse & self flaggellation is part of the cycle so don't waste any more time there. Onwards & forwards my friend.. lets get a plan!

May I join the call and say Mr Tipps, please don't go. Everybody here loves & needs you! I got my little packet of bac today but am seriously reconsidering. It has come from India and the tablets look a bit smooshed. Visions of horrid little backyard laboratory

wow, you so lucky! do you know what type of snake it was?
6 foot shed would prob be 4 1/2 5ft snake.
smooth scales or keeled, single belly scale or divided?
now i need to reed up on snake of the world, only have experiance with aussie types. :thanks:
