Hope you have a Funtastic week off then Mr G!! This morning began with a good dream of the sort that stayed with me all day.. a good portent I hope. My first monday back at work was very quiet indeed - as Reggie suggested, most folks had buggered off for a long weekend so I had good time to sift through my email & figure out what had happened while I was gone. Altogether a long boring day but I am warned things will be busy after the cup is done with.

Thank you Reggie for my horsey! I think this is him: changing of the guard - how prophetic! I hope!! :l Keep up the good work.


I've finally bitten the bullet & ordered some bac to see if it will help at all. Should take a while so am taking the 'nobender' challenge very seriously and just aiming to keep things moddily quiet. Found the day very long with work, the shopping, cooking, the homework etc.. managed to yell only a little bit to persuade the munchkins to go to bed. phew! Off to a good book meself now.

Sill waiting to hear about the hankie thing Tawns.. hope all is well

Very grateful to you all for being here... very much enjoy the conversations everyone has when I'm not here & the things I learn - helps me stay focused & less stressed about my own stuff.

Tuesday and I've decided to have the morning in bed simply because my aussie mates are!

I'm off to play tennis with the old birds today and then we're having a Melbourne Cup luncheon at my Mum's house....luncheon??...how the hell did I get to this stage of my life I wonder...Oh well, the old birds will all enjoy a glass or 2 of champers, I'll be doing it AF & feeling strong.
Had dreams last night of drinking and woke up thinking 'Oh no, am I hungover?? Hmm, actually I'm not...didn't drink a thing...at all...ha!'

G - sorry I missed you last night...you're keeping the night owl hours with the not going to work huh??
Ficks - good to hear you're first day was OK...hpe it gets more exciting though.
