Well, I'm most chuffed that Bonne Stuffen has worked it's way into the lingo...Ficks got Bonne Stuffened last night & Tawny's Bonne Stuffening in the am...all of this amuses me greatly and if I think of the Bonne Stuffen when I'm not here I have a little chuckle to myself - thankyou you funny funny people.
Gawd, it's Saturday, still af and (like Mame) was up & at the gym at sparrows fart. Focusinig on the 'gratitude' thing and spent the first half of today thinking "I'm so glad I didn't give in to the cravings last night' - got very close, stupid me watched some thing about 'The Best Bubbles to Buy for Xmas' (said in ridiculously poxy voice) at 6.45pm. 6.45PM???? Really, why don't I just buy a bottle and smack myself
around the head with it for a bit??? Huh?? WHY NOT???

Mame, I'm totally jealous of your BBQing persuits...I'm really missing our house in NZ...with all the space...and the kiddies could run around outside. And the big deck (or 'big dick' as you Kiwis call it) to sit on & watch the boats sail passed.

Hello!

Well I've started my garden 'of sorts'! As of now I am "attempting to grow" parsley,chives, pumpkins and....something else???
Wee chicks and I planted most in old egg cartons the other day, a few in some pots and have been watering dilegently since! I am awaiting lovely green sprouts with..well..hopefullness and alot of doubt!!!
Just for the sake of my own kids' belief in the right of the world, I am praying that these seedling grow!!! I may need some help though!
Today I bought some more seedling mix and more seedlings! On requst of 4.5 yr old chick I am going to add tomatoes to our burgeoning garden!!! But someone recently told me that the leaves are poisonous! Is this true..cause, this ain't too good for the week chicks!

Have bought them both some mini-gardening gloves to help me. Any advise greatly appreciated!

That's great Chook! My only advice is to tell them they mustn't eat ANY plants without checking with you first. That's what I told mine and they now eat stuff from the garden but hold it up to show me first...some things, like the lettuces they know well enough now to just eat. Mind, they won't eat it if it's put on a plate...
I'm out of my funk (mostly)...thanks to Mame & Tawny. Actually I'm really touched - you guys took time out to help me...really, huggy thing here.

Chuffed beyond belief!!

Okay, you know those plants I'be been telling you about...well..
I just went outside after two days to water them and I have....wait for it....
4 pumpkin seedlings and 12 spinach seedlings!!!!!!!!!!!!!OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so chuffed at myself right now I don't know what to do..so have planted zucchini & tomatoes in a positive growing frenzy!!! Is it actually posibble that I can 'nurture' things?

Was having a coffee out, today, and ordered water. It came in the form of a (well rinsed out, of course) water filled ex bottle of bundy rum, with the label still on it! I didn't know whether to laugh or cry! I had a little chuckle, but i tell ya, in the earlier af weeks, it might have been a bit unsettling. Strange, but amusing. Was this waiter extracting the Michael?
