THE NEXT DAY THREAD - NOVEMBER
Morning all,
what a great nights sleep!! I've been on a futon earlier in the week, so a bed felt like a bit of luxury!!
Methaloner ...... you seem to be off-line now, but hope you are okay. There will probably be some people here in a short while once all the aussies get themselves out of bed. Keep checking in.
Asp - the picnic was a great idea!!! And you are doing so well with staying AF despite the cravings,
Have a new routine in the mornings ....... realised last time I was up north that I can get onto MWO through the wireless connection on my i-pod touch. So I can catch up with everything that s going on without even getting out of bed ..... although navigating from page to page can be a little tricky with those tiny little boxes with the page numbers in them. I've also now worked out how to post while I'm away (quite simple really - just hadn't really applied the braincells to the problem!!) but way too slow to do it on my i-pod.
anyway, hi to everyone ........ I'm at my office and better go and sort out a few things that need paying attention to. HAve a great day all!Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

Chook, nice letter to al. You are really moving forward with your attitude, i think. Our attitude, and our thinking, can save our lives, so keep working on the gratitude thinking! Look around you, and inside you, and making a list of what you can be grateful for is a great motivator, i find. Go for it Chook!
Well, off to watch Scott and Charlene's wedding for some tip's. See youse later.

Oh, and people are saying Britney is miming. She would NEVER do that! She is an artsite, and a lady.
Is she still in Oz? I wonder if she's in the bridal party?

Aspy - gorgeous kiddo. You can only upload one photo into the Gallery. Subscribers (Pencil heads) can upload more. You can however upload them into a thread by going through Photo Bucket first.
Sure was nice to read back and see the Gang's all here. Wonder what happened to Beagle? Wonder if Kev's going to catch up with Rags while he's in India? Wonder what Brittney will wear to the wedding? Soooo many questions, such little time ...

Smoke-O,
What were youse all huffing last night ? I am totally discombobulated after readng that.
I have decided that I too wish to have a grove. What are our favourite trees to get me started ? I have the PERFECT place for it.
Ficke I'm SURE I had a Marshmallow years ago from the cottage garden range (pink pots). I haven't seen one for a long time, prolly because of the drought. ? specialist herb nurseries ? search online for just the supplier of the soap ? I LOVED Blackmores stuff. Is it even still around ? Their handcream was devine.
Who's doing the flowers for the wedding ?If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

So when is this wedding happening anyway?! I've always wanted to have an opportunity to spill the beans when the celebrant says ominously "If anyone should know of any reason why this man and this woman should not be joined together in holy matrimony ......" :H:H
I had some of that Blackmores marshmallow stuff too -it was great! Yellow botte with green writing ....... used to have to go to the one health food store in town to be able to get it!! How times have changed!
Going to give up on my tomato and basil seedlings (I never have any luck with basil!!) - even a thorough soaking last night has failed to revive them. The lettuces (all 3 varieties) have come back great guns though, and in about 2 weeks time I'll have enough to feed a small herd of anything that eats lettuce. Anyone want to swap it for an already done Xmas cake? I've even got all the ingredients - was on last weekend's list of things to do, but never got even started.
Speaking of which - has anyone got any suggestions of what to soak fruit in when you dont want to soak it in brandy????!! I thought maybe just some orange juice?? Trying to think of something that will keep it moist, but maybe with a little "oomph" ......
Had a god day today, but I'm rilly tired. Uncle Mame away for the evening and I'm looking forward to some time on my own. No kittens even - they were de-sexed today and up for adoption tomorrow!!
Back north in the morning, not back until Monday night. Have a great weekend everyone.Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

Oh ... and I'd still use the brandy. Quantities ingested would be minimal.
