Hello out there!
I joined MWO back in April and found myself happy for the first time in 20 years. Lost weight, exercise became incredibly important, I turned down drinks, stopped thinking about drinking all day long for the first time in my adult life, accomplished incredible amounts of work at home and at the office, felt and looked great.

So what happened??? August started my downfall. Travel, deadlines, falling short of work goals, economy effecting my sales, assistant stressed going thru divorce and kids on drugs, clients wanting everything after giving nothing, no excercise, non-stop anxiety and stress all led to drinking again. I didn't even realize it. Old habits snuck in on me. I'm sure I was in complete denial.

September was bad but October drinking reminded me of how bad it was back in March. I didn't drink as much but close. I knew on Friday of last week that I was at that angry, self loathing place again and wanted my life back... AGAIN.

Turning 40 this year has changed my way of thinking in every way imaginable. I'm sick of hiding inside a bottle. I want to have a great life and I'm sick to death of wasting it on booze! I want to ski, hike, laugh, have great sex with my husband, play, and live. Alcohol prevents all that for me.

So count me in... I want to get my ass in gear for November. I've ordered the supplements, have the Topmx, have my cd's, have the desire and attitude to GO!

This has been the ONLY program that has ever worked and I know it will work again. I know it will!

I think I dropped out of this the last time too early. I found really early success and felt so empowered. I was FREE from alcohol and loving it. I didn't take into consideration how easily a 20 year habit/addicition can creep back up on you so quickly with only a few months of moderation. I should have known better.

My moderation was so wonderful... my days passed without a thought of drinking. Dinners and parties without constantly wondering how much alcohol I could get. Family events with no desire for alcohol at all. It was amazing to say the least.

Falling back in to my old self has been very disappointing. I read thru a lot of posts tonight, lots of yours as well, before I had the courage to post again. Thank you for the reassurance!

Boobie is a funny name my hubby gave me for more reasons than one.... ha! But mostly buddy, pal, buhby! It's from a silly Die Hard movie and it just stuck.

Dogs woke me up for something(?) so I checked in here a sec. Time changed here today, hubs vacation ended today. Can't say I'm unhappy, I need my time to get work done. Booby, LOVE the name. Just a quick check in before I start my day. Watched a beautiful sunrise this morning. It's suppose to get in the high 50's here so I plan on getting outside for a while this afternoon.

Time to get off here and head for the gym. Exercise has become very important to me and am actuallly starting to enjoy it.

woke up this morning to snow with a layer of ice under it (found out the hard way as I was running to the gym). Well off to work and hoping everyones day will be good.......
