So who is ready to get their ass in gear for November

    Evening Everyone,

Gosh, what a happy thread. I love it. Just settling in after my short roadtrip and waiting for my daughter to get home from work. I hope everyone has had a good day.

I have to add...it is funny how people always say....their problem isnt that big, people have worse problem...WELL, yeah...maybe so, but at the time your problem seems big and IS big in your life. Shit, life can always get worse. At my worst moment...I knew life could be worse, but damn I sure am glad it didn't get worse. Talking through things helps tremendously.

So who is ready to get their ass in gear for November

                    Hello, hello!

Thanks for the warm welcome, T & Rubes and all.

Mountaingirl, I too, have been bouncing around -- congrats on day 8! :goodjob:

Betty -- nice to meet you. I've read many of your posts and love your pic!

Boobie -- 2 days rocks and glad you're feeling like smiling too! Great group here and aren't we lucky to have found it.

I had a great run/walk this morning and cooked stuff for the next few days to keep myself going. Talked with my sister for an hour on the phone (we never get time to do that) and caught up. Feeling great all over the place and then whammo! Was it a craving? Don't know. That doesn't quite capture it...I'll call it a zzzzzziiiiiinnnnnggg! Reminds me of when I quit smoking last time (still smoking, btw). Trying to figure out what triggered it, but there wasn't anything to pin it on...other than habit/addiction. Guess that's a big enough thing, eh? Still here though and AF.

Oh yeah and pfffffft, how the hell did I ruin hard-boiled eggs? The little egg skins on the inside are all sticking to the shells on the outside!

Babble, babble, babble...good thing to fight the zzzzziiiiinnnnnggg! :H

LOL Lode!! Love the babble, it keeps us sane. I've had a wicked evening. Hubs came home, after a visit to dermologist AGAIN, where I told him to make them listen to him, (for the price we're payin) and his hands are as raw as a diaper-rashed baby's ass. We've paid $100 up front, PLUS whatever our insurance shells out. Hope I don't have to go to the next appointment, someone will cry. No sense for someone to command the fees they do without results, and Hubs is no crybaby. They are running tests with results in a month. ANOTHER eviction in the making, too sad to describe. Sooooo, I made steak fajitas for dinner, and I'm dead tired now. Oh, and neighbor girl (another sad story, parents divorcing and he has a PI prowling around, who I'll gladly shoot), called, had lost her 2 pups. She was crying, I talked her thru it, promised Hubs and I would go out to look. On second call, the wayward hounds came home, so I listened to the tearful reunion. Flat out busted now. Need to go to bed shortly. Love you all!!!!!!!!!!

Man, Rubes, that is a day! Sorry to hear of hubby's hands...my, that has to be painful! I'd be slathering mine with Desitin, I'm sure. A month seems like a long time to wait for test results. I hope you make the doctor cry if he doesn't get some relief soon.

                        :h
