    Hi Folks,

    I was wondering if anyone has been treated as an inpatient in the UK in an NHS addiction facility?

    Hiya JJ, I havent personally, but I know a few people who have.
    I work at an addiction centre over here...
    Living now and not just existing since 9th July 2008
    Nicotine Free since 6th February 2009

        I did in Europe (not UK)-- 3x. It was horrific -- not just physically, but specifically spiritually. After that, I have detoxed at home and it has been much easier (on my soul, anyway) and I have felt so much better afterwards, and much more motivated to stay sober (even if it didn't last forever, it always lasted much longer than the institutional detoxes.).         Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life... And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.
