          he can now multi- task!
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Noooooooo........... :upset: My cert expired 15 years ago. I have to be startingover :H

I have to fill out an app, get official transcripts, fingerprinted, FBI check, blah, blah blah. I'll be too late to register for Univ. courses by then. But that's OK. I'll check with the commission on deaf today and make appt. with an advisor at the univ. and look into a sign lang. course at the tech college. I may not even HAVE to go to the univ. and would rather not as I'd rather be in the private sector VS the public school system.

                  Hi greenie,
                  Thx JC got your PM,
my son just called and sent me an email,

says he didn't want to make me cry, but he was telling me how he felt about when I was drinking and didn't know if he could believe it was true this time or just tricking them...again..!!

I can understand how he feels that, coz I was de-tox 3 times and started again each time and it was always Jamie & Bonnie that would find the hidden bottles etc..

feel a bit better now after talking to him and having you here is my rock, I know for sure without you I would have hit a drink hard otherwise.. and destroy everything i have so far achieved

                      LJ,

I've de-toxed so many times with all good intentions and failed time and time again.

This time it seems different () but even the kids can see it.

                        Yes, starty moving forward.

I tried for so long and each time the withdrawals kicked my arse. Such a negative spiral. Now I look at things and try to remove the negative aspect. I look at it as all part of learning and growth. It takes some longer for whatever reason. But relapses, slips, falls, whatever you call them, are really choices with the influence of an addiction and I decided to call them learning experiences. You ARE learning. You may not be making progress at that time, but you ARE learning. Even if your path should be to self-destruct you are learning what will work.

                        * steps down from soap box*

This is part of a post Irish just made in general about gratitude.

If I so choose I can regard everything that happens in my life as a gift from which I can learn and grow. Even the darkest moments can be faced with gratitude, if not for the crisis itself, for the changes and growth it can evoke, an old quotation 'when it gets dark enough you can see the stars'.
