well i love to go portugal,but you cant depend on the sun in dec,its the same with south of spain,maybe the canaries,i have to see,plus mrs mario doesent no yet of my greatest plan,i might just end up doing a sun bed :-)

Went to the Canaries one year in March, it was warm but very windy.

opal i have been there, at least 30 times, mostly gran canaria,once tenerife and lately lanzarote. i thing i am addicted to the sun, wonder if there is a forum for that,hopefully i would have to do some rehab there

Hi Mario & Op's,
yep it is still warm here in the winter months, it does get windy in the north of the island and they have a lot more rain being north of Tiede the volcano, the climate is very different to here in the south.

we are still waiting for the rain, we needit here in the south but when it rains it is torrential but is only for a couple of days the sun comes back out.

yes lady jan but its great when i lived in portugal it rained maybe 2/3 times a year and it was torrential when it did,seen some great sea and sky storms there,

:-( I went to tenerife for my honeymoon in 1983,seen mount teide,even went there,its nice to no somethings dont change,cant say the same about my marriage.

don't worry Mario reckon just about all of us have been thru it some manage to stick together but there's not many and not sure if they are truly happy or doing the right thing and compromising their lifes..

I got married twice and would NEVER do it again..
