Wow. They have left, and what pieces that are left of me are crawling towards one another to reassemble Ruby. The boys are a dream. Played in our woods, very parklike; discovered a 'bat cave' (Jack is Batman) they could play in; climbed under, over, around and through the Troll Bridge, a bridge over an old creek bed, all the time dressed in their new superhero hoodie hats and mittens. The mittens seemed to impart superpowers to them, as they instantly began disappearing behind trees, into raviines, climbing fences, etc. AB, the 9 y/o starlet wannabe, antagonized them as soon as she got home today from The Cousins. Finally used my fly swatter on her little smartass! (not too much). Lord, I love it, and daughter and SIL had an evening and 1/2 day on their own.
