hi Op's & tulip, I've been watching rain in yor heart this morning as well, not finished it yet, but it is very moving and can all relate to some of the things they talk about, especially thier feelings of why.. and denial of not being and thier opinion of what an alcoholic is..

Well typically for me I've bitten the bullet and ordered some melatonin to help me sleep and have just slept a full 7 hours.

In the city i live in a big suburban housing estate,there is a tourist book published this month which actually tells people to avoid going into the area,thought that was a bit harsh,but is suppose when you are brought up in it,you dont notice it as much

bloody sad the the name for acoholics has such an ugly stigma,

I would reckon is half the reason why half of us are reluctant to admit being one and asking for help because we are so ashamed to admit it, that we could be one of "those" type of people and frightened of the reaction from our loved ones of the dissapointment they would have us.

when in reality they already knew.. but were too frightened to say anything to us because of our reaction.....and would be relieved we admited it and asked for help...!!!

Good morning all!
Wishing you all well this new week.
I'm feeling strong again, after a period of self-doubt and introspection which I think we all go through from time to time and I'm looking forward to the Christmas holidays, which were a nightmare last year. I'm just going to take it easy and relax through the whole thing.
