Ps: things are really boring in Fl right now!!

last time I went riding was last summer, took my young son 6 yrs & my girl 17 yrs went to my friends stables up in the hills,

hacked down to the beach, slipped the sadles off jumped on bareback rode into the sea as far as the horses could'nt touch the ground so they were swimming,

we laid along their backs holding the manes swimming with them as the sun was coming down...

dunno many other feeling in life to beat that it was wonderful.

30 minutes until departure time... but I took second round of Campral and thanks to all of you am feeling encouraged. Besides I have a piano lesson at 3 so I can't be sloshed for that can I? Oh yes I could but I won't!
Until later the same day (know that book? I loved it, Grace Paley, I think),

thats it kiddo stay positive, do the others know that you have stopped drinking?
coz sometimes if folks know you are stopping, especially if you normally have a drink with them, the may try to encourage you to just have one...!!saying "one won't hurt will it.." but it will,
so maybe just say "no thanks I just don't fancy one" or that you are driving...

just a suggestion..

Thanks LJ,
No this is a business event - none of these people are personal friends. So I am anonymous - even easier to take a drink or two, who would know? And since no one 'knows' no one would notice. My town is FULL of events every day of the week with wine at lunch, for free.
BUT... I would know. I do plan on having a full plate of nice things to eat though.
