Tigger World MWO Tour
When the hint was given about Tigger going to an area where it's hot, my first thought was of Phoenix and then of Texas. I hoped that it would be the second and that Tigger would be going to visit Dancelot. Am so happy to know he's there, tornadoes and all. Dance, yer gonna have a great time with the little guy.
Tigger - you're in the hands of a special lady right now and I know you'll have a wonderful visit.
Dance - the tornado part scares me a bit but we all know that Tigger's in good hands (and paws, by the looks of things) Lovely cats!! And I love that turquoise rocker...For every 60 seconds that you are angry, you lose a minute of happiness.

Tigger World MWO Tour
Well, I'm back again! We got to go out finally! Yay! Aunt Dance likes live music so I got to stay up late and check out the nightlife!
We got in the car, drove down the freeway to where there's tall buildings. This one's my favorite - it's lit up green and reflects off that other shiny building!
We went to an area called Deep Ellum, which in the 1920s and 30s was well known as a place to hear great blues and jazz artists of the time. Blues artists Blind Lemon Jefferson and Huddie "Leadbelly" Ledbetter, and Bessie Smith were regular entertainers in the area.
That really big bus behind me must be the band's!
It's The Original Wailers! They were Bob Marley's band! How exciting! Junior Marvin's guitar is even more orange than me!
We danced and had fun, fun, fun! I saw a bald guy with an obscenity tattooed on the back of his head - Oh my goodness! It was fun - I hummed "Exodus" all the way home!Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our mind ~ Bob Marley ~ Redemption Song

Well Tigger certainly enjoys his reggae! He was humming "Exodus" all the way home last night. I went out earlier and he asking me about the Twelve Tribes of Israel and wondered if we have any MWO members in Ethiopia. That little Tig is so cute - the questions he asks!
When I got home, he had the music cranked way up, but I couldn't find him. "Tigger?" Hmm, I better look around. I hope he didn't leave the house on his own.
Oh, I hear something - I better go look....
OK, what on Earth is that? Oh my gosh... Tigger, is that you?
"Do I look like these guys?"
I'm speechless - and from the look on his face, Bob Marley is too!

Yes - This is the band (The Original Wailers) with Al Anderson (lead guitar), Junior Marvin (vocals & guitar), and Earl "Wya" Lindo (keyboard & vocals). Not sure if Erica Newell was the back up singer this time (I'm not real sure what she looks like) - she was with them in April when they were here. They were all in the band in the early 70s. They're coming back in February! Yay!
There's another band with the original bass player (that goes by The Wailers) that has Aston "Family Man" Barrett who was Bob Marley's original bass player. I saw them too last year (two Wailers in one month). I liked them too. My musical purist ex says the one I saw last night (The Original Wailers) is by far the better of the two.
It was a great show, for 2 hours straight, and me & Tig had a blast!
Tig still has his dreads, at least for tonight!Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our mind ~ Bob Marley ~ Redemption Song
