    Friday was my last outing in the Paris city centre. It was still cold and a bit rainy but expat said we could not wait anymore! So we did a quick visit of the Rodin Museum gardens.

      Our main goal was to climb the Eiffel Tower!! I really wanted to go! You can't come to Paris and not climb up here! She said she has vertigo but finally said "ok, let's do this!" The boy child and I had to hold her hand.

        I wanted to lean over and do The Beatles thingy you girls talked about! But expat was freaking out-and would not let me go! She even talked about making me wear a little harness if I didn't calm down.She was scared I'd fall. There was a lot of wind.



        The view was gorgeous though!

          We stayed till dark so we could see the lights come on. It was magical!

            I wanted to stay and climb a bit more but expat said it was getting late. We have to go and get cheese for my trip to my next destination. I'll need a snack for the way. So we have to get up early tomorrow morning for the Versailles market!

                Cheese!! We are at the Versailles Market to pick out some snackies for my voyage.


                Maybe one of these? It should last awhile.

                And olives too! Expat says I'm going to be a very smelly little traveller.

                  Back to the house for our last evening. Just have to play a few more video games with the boy. Times have changed since Christopher Robin! But we had fun in the Blair Witch woods with pug dog too when the weather was nice (ish)!


                  Some hugs from expat (the brunette) and daughter!!

                  And cuddles with pug dog-he's so warm and pudgy. I'll miss the ugly little guy!

                          Fantastic pictures Expat. You've given us a wonderful tour of Paris. I love that Tigger is wearing his blue "Greek" sweater in a some of the pictures. Thank you so much for a fabulous time in Paris.:happyheart:

                                Sorry to interject here but I find it incredible that some of the Poms and the Paddies haven't been to Paris - you guys are SO CLOSE! I'm seriously jealous. I reckon I'd pop across there at every available opportunity. It was a 20+ hour flight for me ... and cost a squillion ...
