      Homer was out for a long lunch. Check back and you will see that Tigger was cold and wet, so Aunt Mim bought him a sweater. How the heck did I know his size????

          Whew!! So glad to see that Tigger finally landed, even if he was "hung up" for a while after he got there. And rescued by two lovely ladies - what a great start to his new adventure!! Looks like Aunt Mim is going to show him quite the time while he's in Georgia. She's even got the little guy all bundled up in a Tigger-size sweater to keep him warm. Am wondering if he will get along as well with Berit as he did with Larry?

            Yes, quite a few, but the song is about the Tallahatchee Bridge!! The names are all from the Nations (some people say Native American), who settled all along this mighty stream.

                    No that was me jumping off Brown's Bridge when I was in high school. That's sort of on the Chattahoochee. Cawabunga!

                        See the bridge to the far left? Aunt Mim says during the recent flooding, the water was all the way to the bottom of the trusses! Can Tiggers swim?
                        OK, this is the song about THIS brigde/river. Aunt Mim says the guy singing is 'bout her sixteenth cousin, but his wife is even closer kin. (I hope that's legal)!

                          I KNOW Brown's Bridge!!!! Did you really jump off that thing??? When I was in college (don't ask, you all probably weren't born!) my uncle was a deputy in the county my family settled in in the mid-late 1700's. They were very rural, and somehow a hippie group had found them, and LOVED jumping off these bridges.

                          Researching geneology is like reading a mystery story. My family were real pioneers and I love finding them.

                            Hahaha! I knew you'd know Brown's Bridge. When I drove over it years later, I was amazed at how erm, closer to the water it was. :H I suppose jumping off gives a MUCH bigger perspective than driving over! So does 20 years :H

                              This river moves on from a tiny spring near our cabin through the state of Georgia, becoming the dividing line between Georgia and Alabama. With water becoming a more and more serioius issue, it has become a focal point for water rights, until it flows into Florida and finally out into the Gulf of Mexico. One point it passes is the Kaw-Liga bridge, where the wooden indian stands made famous by the late great Hank Williams Sr. He and my FIL used to ride the backroads of East Alabama looking for liquor stills.
