It's a very chilly, tho sunny day here. Aunt Mim lit the fire for me, so I could get over my fright and get ready for the next adventure. She also says there are some nekkid chicks who might be my tour guides, can't wait for that!!

New bubblecut hairstyle, new titian (red or auburn) hair color, also blonde, brownette (this is the lighter brown or sable) & brunette/black, rest same as #5/6 ponytail. Lip & nail colors vary from red to pale bubblegum pink.



Brownette's are rarer than the other hair colors and therefore command a higher value, she wore a black and white striped swimsuit in 1961 only, just like the earlier ponytails.

TMB and Aunt Mim took me to the historic Moss Oaks. Built first as a log cabin to trade with the Cherokee and Creek, the plantation house was built by Phillip Orr, a revoluntionary war hero, who's sister in law was Mims gggggrandmother. His mother-in-law was a cousin of Georgia Washington, and though a Quaker, supplied beef to the Revoluntiary Army. Mims taking me across the road to the cemetary in a minute!!

Oh, I forgot to tell you that Mim says there's a bullethole in the wall at the top of the stairs inside the house where a misbegotten Yankee soldier tried to take over the house. Guess he didn't know all of Mim's female ancestors were crack shots too.

There is a huge festival here, just a few hundred feet from the Plantation house, every year for almost 30 years. This path is called Grandfather's Walk. It leads to the stream first used by Mims ancestors when they built here.
