Miss Behaving;820770 wrote: Worked late tonight and came back home to the following email from Tigger. I?ve just cut and pasted:
?Hi Miss Behaving,
I know you were expecting me today, but I had such a lovely time with Zeppie?s doggies that it was a bit hard to leave. Particularly when Starty was a bit poorly (is she okay now??). Anyway, when I did I met some other saffas who were hitchhiking/backpacking around the South Island (there are lots of them here!!!!!!). It was really nice to meet up with people and talk about home .... travels are exciting but I miss my family sometimes too.
Anyway, and in the spirit of manana (I learned that word when I was with Aunty Jan and Ollie!) I am currently on the West Coast Tourism West Coast and staying at Hokitika ( Hokitika.com: Activities, Attractions & Accommodation, West Coast NZ). Please be assured I am behaving myself and staying out of trouble! Tomorrow we are going to Punakaiki (Punakaiki - West Coast, New Zealand : Punakaiki Tourism Site - West Coast, New Zealand Punakaiki, West Coast, New Zealand - Official Tourism Website) before heading over Arthurs Pass (the Google images are lovely!) tomorrow and then to Kaikoura (Kaikoura - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) . Would like to see if we can do some whale watching or swimming with dolphins in the afternoon if it isn?t too cold! Will be up in Picton probably Sunday to catch the ferry ............ should be with you Monday at latest.
Tigger"
He used to disappear for days and weeks on end, and we wouldn't know where he was!
Off to do some browsing around NZ with the cubs...I'll do whatever it takes

Tip.
forgot to mention that the ferry from the south island to the north goes through the Marlborough Sounds ........ one of my favourite and most beautiful parts of the country. Full of lots of small and totally isolated bays. My photos of it are on another computer, but there are lots on the web!Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

If anyone has some advice on posting photos I would been very grateful!! Photos taken on Canon PowerShot A1000, downloaded into i-photo, exported to my desktop. I am uploading than as small as I can but they still seem to be too big?? I can post as links/attachments, but not embed into the message itself.
I'm sure this is good for me but right now I need a :cupajoe: !!!!Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

While I'm waiting for advice ....
Tigger arrived off the ferry this morning. Think he had a god time with those other saffas he ran into but looks like he needs a goood bath!! He has been beautifully well mannered and displayed lots of interest in the cats and the garden ....... but really it looked like he just needed a good sleep. I had a really nice bed sorted for him, but he was taken with the kittens and dropped off in there. They were also quite taken with him ...... they haven't had a male role model in their lives :H:H
More photos later when he has had a chance for a good rest Attached files Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

Messaage from Tigger!!
Kia ora koutou!!! Kei te pehea? Ka nui te ora!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, I know I am showing off my new linguistic talents, but I've had a lovely snooze with the (seven!!!) kittens (did some baby-sitting so their mother could get a rest ...... remind me not to be reincarnated as a girl will ya??) and woke up with a big bounce in my tail!! :yay::yay:
When I got here this morning MsB showed me around her place, then I pretty much slept most of the day. Woke up late afternoon and started to meet the house inhabitants. Apart from the kittens there are frogs (MB tells me she has had these guys since she was 15)
and a wishasourous (she reckons it is an ancient kiwi custom .... would it be rude to suggest that she is pulling my leg????)
and more cats ........
This is wookie ......... he is such a sweetheart!!! A Maine Coon and I know how great they are. Once he had had a good sniff of me we were best mates, and spent the afternoon talking about life and the universe.
