After our morning stroll around the garden, Froggy said we were going bush. The real bush where we might even see some kangaroos and wallabies. We found a beautiful old miner's hut and a billabong. There were some huge gum trees.








When we got to the top of the ranges, the view was spectacular. Froggy asked me to pop out of frame for these shots because she said my fur was interfering with the tonal integrity of the composition. Don't know what she was talking about but I popped out of frame and hid behind the trees.

I'm sad to say it's my last day at Froggy's place. She said it's good for me to keep moving forward, and that new adventures await me. She walked me to the bus stop, along a long and dusty road.





She even held my hand.





And you know the best part?

SHE HUGGED ME!!!!!!!!

TWICE.

OH MY GOD.

So we're noodling along the road, getting on like wild fire.
She's letting me call her Froggy. She hugs me twice, and I think 'Oi ..... I'm IN here'

We get to the 'bus stop' , and it all goes seriously pear shaped.
Next thing you know she's shoving me into a shoebox , taping it up like I'm gunna try and scratch my way out (which I did). Then she's yarping on to someone called 'old Dave' at the post office.
24 hours of rattling and banging in the dark. I felt like Reggie on a domestic flight, but no sh*t grips available.
Then seven AM this morning this old boy who smells like stale alcohol passes me through another door.
At last..........light........and what's the first thing I see ????
This foul tempered harridan with the worst case of bed head I've ever been privvy to, pissing and moaning about being woken up at seven O'clock in the morning........
'And why are there scratch marks on the inside of the box' she say's......

So I say.....' listen love....you have no idea how my day's been so far....I could murder a glass of bubbles'

And she says......'We don't DRINK here!!!!! ' :upset:

And I'm thinking......What's going on here ?......I've been half way round the world, and not ONE of them has even got a cold beer for me ?

what a great visit Tawny!!! (dont feel like I can call you Froggy just yet!!)

I love the Australian bush and outback. I did a road trip from Perth to Broome about 10 years go and was just floored by how magnificent it was.
