Well - we had a HUGE day. We started very early in the morning and went to pick some grapes.



Then we came home again and I helped Froggy mow. (She said now that she really likes me, I can call her that). She operated the pedals and I was allowed to steer.



After a while, we went to pick the last of the quinces and pears. Froggy will make quince jelly. I also picked some chilis and forgot to wash my hands before rubbing my eyes. Ouch.



Next we harvested the giant sunflowers. Froggy will hang these in the trees for her birds and save some seeds for planting next year. They were huge.



In the afternoon, she put me in charge of the heavy vehicles. Yes, I was in control of the logging trucks.



At the end of the day, there's nothing better than catching the last rays of sun, sitting in companionable silence, with a friend.
