Good. We'll just give you a bath and a bit of a dry and then we're off.

Oh I had lots of fun on my walk with Auntie Stirly and Freddie. Auntie Stirly said we have to take pictures of different trees that are here in her neighbourhood for the people at MWO who live in colder climates and have maybe never seen these kind of trees. It was great fun because I got to sit high up in the trees and could see a lot of things from way up there.
Well Tigger, I guess it was kind of like a science lesson at school - learning what the different trees are and what they produce. Do you remember which trees are which?
Yep - this first one is a banana tree. Auntie Stirly says that Greek bananas are small. I think they're just the right size!!



And this is a stashio tree.
Pistashio tree, Tigger...
Oops, pistachio tree. Auntie Stirly says the best pistachios grow on the island of Aegina but we don't have time to go there so we'll have to do with the pistachios here. I sat beside a very little bunch. There are bigger ones behind me.



Then I got to sit in an olive tree with the little olives. They get harvested late in the fall.



Tigger, you're doing very well so far. And you don't even eat these things.
Well, Daddy Tigger told me to pay attention so I can help the Cubs learn new things too.
And this is a fig tree with the little figs that have just started growing. They'll be ready to eat in about six weeks.



And Auntie Stirly said this is a very good year for grapes. Now I know what she meant. There were really a lot of little grapes on the vines.

Then we went for a little walk around Auntie Stirly's neighbourhood. There are some very nice flowers and houses here. Can you see where I am in the picture. Auntie Stirly thought that she'd lost me for a minute. I was cammyflodged:H

And then we went to visit the ancient ruins that are right down the street from Auntie Stirly's house. She said they're Roman baths. Don't know what that means but I guess they are really, really old. Older than Auntie Stirly



Well, I've had a very long day. A bumpety, bumpety ride. Then I met the Animal Crackers. Then a very long walk with Auntie Stirly and Freddie (he's a very nice doggy - didn't try to eat me like Larry and TMB and the other dogs...). So now I'm off to bed and Auntie Stirly says we'll take some more pictures tomorrow... yawn, yawn. Goodnight MWO. See you all tomorrow.
