Look it is sunny again for ten minutes today, so we start off at Westminster Cathedral



which is down by Victoria station - I am overcome with grief (hence the scarf over the eyes), as the departure board reminds me that I will be leaving London shortly :upset:



This is Ferdinand Foch (no jokes about his silly French name please) and he was a supreme commander of the Allied armies in WWI. Why is the woman standing there staring at me?? How rude!

Next we wander over to Slaone Square. This is the Venus fountain.



It is posh round ere - I do wish Kim wouldn't take me to posh places - we clearly don't fit in!



This is the Queens official grocery store - a far cry from Lidl, where Kim shops...
Kim: That is a vicious slur, Tigger - I am a Morrisons girl. Lidl indeed...



These are the sort of dogs posh people own - they are probably called Oberon and Gideon, poor sods...

We pay a visit to the Saatchi gallery, which houses contemporary art









This is amazing - it is an entire room half-filled with oil, which gives weird reflections and optical illusions. Worth a visit for this alone.

On the recommendation of some MWO members, we pop over to Greenwich -this is the view from the pier and you can see across to Canary wharf
