I'm really very embarrassed about this.
I'm still sure that he's not lost.
Everything was done properly. He was parcelled up nice and safely with all his gear. Specially purchased box, fully labelled and paid for.
I work for a postal company and I know how hard it is for something to go astray, and I also know how easy it is.
All I can do say how happy I was to receive a connection with all the lovely people who had contact with Tigger, and how disappointed I am to have been responsible for losing him, and in Royal Mail.
I work for TNT post. We process mail that Royal Mail deliver.
I went to a Royal Mail Post Office with a smile on my face; happy to send him on his way, confident that all my friends here would see him again.
I'm not smiling now, though I do know that it can take 6 weeks for a parcel to go from Canada to here. I thought that one was lost too, but it turned up.
The next important and precious package that I send abroad, I'm taking it myself, on my lap, in a plane.
He's not lost...

Pops, I know when I sent Tigger off-I was a bit worried. He's probably still out there on his way or maybe routed back to you... It could have happened to any of us! It is actually amazing Tigger made all the trips around the world that he did! I am still confident he will turn up!!!! Tigger's voyages have given us all so much joy-and learning about each others part of the world. The kids and I are so happy to have been part of it. I just wish we could get "Tigger World" on dvd:H. Some lovely memories...and hopefully more to come! :l Popeye -don't feel so bad! expat xxx

Popeye- It could've happened to anyone- so do not fret! If he doesn't show up perhaps the person he was being sent to can buy a little tigger to replace him-and start the process back up again..what do you think?

As much as it saddens me to say it, I think little Tigger's travels have come to an end.

On the positive side, I think the little guy has meant a lot - to all his various hosts and MWO in general. His travels and the trouble so many people went to has provided us with an incredible experience. I've learnt a lot about other places in the world and have gotten to know a number of other MWO members better in the process. Some incredible fun was had along the way!

I'll certainly miss him, as will the cubs and Mrs. T, but we'll always have the memories that have been created.

To each and everyone who hosted him or participated on this thread: a huge big thank you!
