        Recently the movie 'Get Low' was filmed here, with Robert Duvall, Bill Murray, and Cissy Spacek. (Across the street from the park). Lovely house, and wonderful residents.

              This is currently a business. It was built before the Civil War, just a block from the court square, by the husband of my grandfather's cousin. Her two sons became legendary pediatrician, pioneers in treating children when life was so precarious for them. They were mine and Hubs doctors when we were babes.

                  Our local court house, under renovation. Many historic trials have taken place there, as well as movies made with Raymond Burr, James Garner, and others. Note the statue in front. This is a Conferderate soldier, and the statue always faces north, guarding against any further agression from those Yankees.

                      Tigger World MWO Tour

                      On the way home, Aunt Mim and Uncle Rubes took me down Smokey Road, named because of all the smoke that hung over the area during the early 1900's from liquor stills! Now, it's become a mecca for big horse farms and crazy big houses. This property was originally owned by Mim's friends (her brother is a country music star), and was bought by Toni Braxton's family. They have an INDOOR bowling alley! Mim says she doesn't talk across the fence with these neighbors, they have guards!

                                Getting ready for bed now. Aunt Mim and I are looking at pics of her family. The dark picture is Aunt Mim's ggrandmother, whose tombstone we saw yesterday.
                                Good night all. I think I've worn Aunt Mim out, she looks really droopy right now. Guess I'll have to ask TMB to carry me up to bed, but she does drool so. Hope she's still not mad at me for the hat trick.
