      Happy thanksgiving

      We dont celebrate it over here but I have to say I very much applaud the idea of taking stock and being thankful for all the blessings we have in our lives. It is too easy to get caught in the rat race of what we are missing, most of it usually material items. There are always going to be people better and worse off the us in so many ways. Have a lovely day guys and enjoy your many blessings.
      Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

        Happy thanksgiving

        I was thinking earlier that, as much as I love Christmas, Thanksgiving is one of my favorite times because the only spending connected with it, other than what we spend on food, is that of time. Time with our families, time making sure the homeless and poor have a turkey dinner, at one of the hundreds, maybe thousands of organizations across the country where people come and spend the day cooking and serving those who have nothing. THIS is what Thanksgiving is, and why I love it.

          Happy thanksgiving

          Sounds like what Christmas should be and maybe was before the naked commercialism bastardised it. Excuse my language but it annoys me to see it being sold 6 weeks before the day and people feeling they have to spend loads of money, that many can ill afford, to make it somehow 'special'. Rant over

            ktab your so right, 2 days after halloween & there of,there should be laws enforced against all that pressure
