And the rest of his family followed (obviously not the nurse). Can you imagine the scandal in a small mining village.
I can just imagine how the natives got on with the newcastle accent

Why did the rest of the family follow, did he owe them money? :H

Oh Dear KT they were the southern branch of the family. They came from Durham.

Don't know about the money. Have to ask me dear old granny (she's 95) and probably be able to remember the date, time and what they were wearing. Unfortunately she can't remember what she had for tea yesterday.

Well lucky you, in the last 24 hours we have had torrential rain (3 months worth have fallen in less than 3 weeks) Bright sunshine yesterday morning followed by fog in the afternoon. Hailstones and snow by 8pm then sheet lightening and thunder. Still pouring down, I dont remember anything like the last day or so. Half the country is flooded but TG I built my house up a hill. I will move to sunnier climes in a few years.

We've been lucky in Newcastle as it's been the only bit of the country not affected by the heavy rain until .... 1.00am today.

              It is hideous outside.

                  Aaaargh. Green with envy.

Before I head of into crossword land, I'll leave with this question.

Now that Starty has over 20 thousand posts does that change her status from senior member to senile member?

                        morning Opes.

                        S'ok LJ.

Being lovely and miserable weather means you can eat lovely toad in the hole and steamed puddings.

Now I really must off and go and catch some toads. mmmmmmmmmmmmm.
